Ever find a series and just devour it so quickly? I'm currently reading the third novel in the Throne of Glass series and I'm enjoying it.

Let's Get it On: Sex and Disability
Last weekend a journalist came to my house and interviewed me on what it's like having a sex life whilst disabled. We spent almost two hours discussing this subject that seems to be one of the most controversial and taboo topics when it comes to disability. Obviously I don't find it unmentionable, or I wouldn't be writing this or have been interviewed. But disability and sex seems to be that forbidden juxtaposition that nobody wants to think about, let alone talk about.

It's been a while since I included a post in this series so I thought I better change that. If you want to read any of the others, just type firsts in the search bar on the right and they should pop up for you to check out.

I Put People Into Categories to Help My Mental Health

Valentine's Day Makeup Look

January #Paperhaul Subscription Box
January's #Paperhaul box arrived earlier this week and I'd have had this to show you much earlier if I hadn't had a bit of an accident with my ankle. Anyway, this time the stationery subscription box is circus themed!

Talking About My Illness Doesn't Make Me Negative
'Behind every exquisite thing that existed, there was something tragic'
Oscar Wilde
The above quote will be tattooed on me someday. I love it and I love Oscar Wilde. I also thinks it rings true for my life, especially my illness. I don't see my disability as a tragedy or something awful now, but when I was growing up with chronic pain, I certainly felt like it was a death sentence. I didn't see any way of getting used to the agony and everything associated with my condition, I thought it'd hold me back (and it did for a while), and I wanted to be 'normal'.
