Beauty Travel Essentials with World Duty Free

Givency travel palette - Glamglow lip balm - Tangle Teezer

Unfortunately I have nowhere to travel anytime soon, as much as I would love to, but when World Duty Free asked if they could send me some goodies, I couldn't say no. And, I mean, look at what they sent me, your girl was a little bit (a lot) buzzin'.

Tangle Teezer Compact Styler Skinny Dip Pink/White Flamingo Print*

Erm hello, anything flamingo related has to be mine, I am slightly obsessed. I absolutely love Tangle Teezers, I have various styles and they're so good for getting the knots out of my locks. This little babe has a removable cover so the teeth of the Teezer remains dirt and dust free, whilst also free from damage when carrying it in your bag. I wear my hair down ninety-five percent of the time so having a little brush on the go is essential when I'm out and about (lol, I never leave my house). One of the best things about a Tangle Teezer, other than it being the perfect detangling hairbrush, is how ergonomic the design is; since I have pretty shitty hands (chronic life), it's really easy to hold and doesn't require much grip strength. The flamingo print is great for adding a bit of tropical life to everyday; love it.

GlamGlow POUTMUD Wet Lip Balm Treatment - Clear*

I absolutely love GlamGlow masks so was really excited to give my lips a treatment, as quite frankly, they need it. My lips are always chapped and I'm forever slathering them in lip balm; I'm not one of these people that can use scrubs as I'm prone to cold sores so am always on the hunt for a fab, hydrating product. And I think I might have found it in this. Infused with lots of moisturising properties, including almond oil, Shea butter and cocoa butter, this balm makes the lips hydrated almost immediately. The treatment is perfect for travelling, especially if changing humidity and climates, as well as via plane as the cabin pressure dries out the skin. It's small and travel friendly, and I really recommend it.

Givenchy Travel palette

Givenchy All-In-One Collection Travel Makeup Palette*

If you didn't want to take a lot of makeup with you (I can't relate, I take twelve lipsticks for three days), this Givenchy palette is absolutely essential. In this sleek palette you get six eyeshadows, a blusher, concealer (which is way too dark for me so I couldn't test it), a face powder, liquid bronzer, lip gloss, eyeliner, mascara, double-ended brush and large mirror. The gel bronzer gives a beautiful glow, whilst the shadows can be used to create a day to night look. If you like minimal makeup or a deep smokey eye, you will definitely achieve it with this palette. I am incredibly impressed with this all-in-one palette and know I will get a lot of use out of it. It's definitely a must for the beauty loving holidaymaker.

  1. Eeek I appreciate that Givenchy have tried to cover everything in that palette but maybe a primer would be better than a concealer. The GlamGlow lip treatment sounds lush, I always have chapped lips too!

    1. If the concealer matched me it would have been fab as I often like to just wear concealer under my eyes and any problem skin. Chapped lips are the devil.

  2. I love Tangle Teezer's, I couldn't imagine using another type of brush now! I really like using the Glam Glow masks too, I feel that they've made a difference to my skin since I've used them.
