I can't tell you how happy I am that there's a chill in the air. This week I got the blankets out and got cosy; we even turned the heating on because it got that cold. And I've never been happier as I bloody hate summer; and I'm buzzing to see the back of that heatwave. Laters eyebrow sweat. Hello candles and cosiness.

Disabled/chronically ill/mentally ill people are constantly bombarded by unsolicited, unwanted advice on our health. We can be talking about absolutely anything, not mention our condition and someone will pipe up with a 'but have you tried...?' There will always be someone that has never heard of your condition miraculously come up with a cure for it. They're everywhere, these miracle workers, these healers. I've met so many and yet, I'm still disabled. Funny that.

I have a thing for homeware; our tiny little bungalow is packed full of things but I'm constantly looking online for more cute items I desperately NEED want in my home. We literally have no more space for anything but I'm sure I'll end up adding a few of these items to my living room or bedroom. I'll just make sure my boyfriend isn't looking when I collect the parcels.

Have you ever wondered who these people are that talk about getting a decent nights sleep? I've never been able to relate. Sleeping for me has always been a problem, even as a child. My chronic pain seems to intensify as soon as I get snuggled up in bed and as much as I love being all cosy, I can't always relax and hardly ever wake up feeling well-rested.
